Backflow Device Certifications

All backflow-prevention assemblies shall be tested upon installation. The customer is also required to conduct periodic testing of all such required backflow-prevention assemblies as required by the water company. These tests are required for assemblies required for internal fixture protection as well as those required for premise isolation. Tests shall be conducted by a TCEQ Licensed backflow-prevention assembly tester in accordance with test procedures established in the latest edition of the Manual of Cross-Connection Control by the Foundation for Cross-Connection Control and Hydraulic Research of the University of Southern California.

As backflow-prevention assembly testers, we complete the Backflow Prevention Assembly Test And Maintenance Report form for each assembly tested and submit it to the water purveyor (water company) as appropriate.
